Welcome to CICS Lloyd Bond! | K-6
We are a tuition-free Kindergarten through 6th grade public charter school located in Chicago’s Altgeld Gardens. At CICS Lloyd Bond, students are encouraged to explore, lead, and express themselves in ways that build confidence, creativity, and joy. Through a personalized learning model, restorative practices, and strong social-emotional supports, we nurture the whole child—preparing students academically and socially for lifelong success. Our classrooms are filled with opportunity and student voice. From unique courses in hip-hop, podcasting, and dance, to student leadership opportunities and family-centered programming, CICS Lloyd Bond is a place where students discover and nurture their passions and talents. With strong community partnerships enhancing both our programs and facilities, we provide students with the tools and experiences they need to rise to every challenge with resilience and pride.
