Every Distinctive Schools campus significantly exceeded normative growth in math and reading on the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measure of Academic Progress (MAP), with average growth across all grades and campuses of more than 150%. This means that in one school year, our students achieved the equivalent of over 1.5 years academic gain.

Over the past three years, less than 1% of students enrolled at a Distinctive Schools campus in Chicago have left during the school year, well below the national attrition rate, particularly among urban public schools.

In the spring of 2015, 36% of Distinctive Schools 8th graders were accepted to Chicago's most competitive secondary schools (selective enrollment, International Baccalaureate, magnet, and military high schools).
